I always like looking through other artists’ sketch books and always enjoy it when they work through one book at a time and you see their thoughts develop. I tend to have several sketch books on the go and so some of them go back decades. I have decided recently to keep just one and to take it with me wherever I go. As pens are easy to carry, I’ve done a few pen and ink drawings. In the winter I drew from various windows. This one is of the end of the garden and the houses in the next road in Manchester.
